The second and final weekend of the Knysna Oyster Festival is officially here, bringing the heat to the winter chill. Headlining the festival hub this weekend is the massive Knysna Cycle Tour and a live outdoor performance by South African rock legends Prime Circle.

If you are looking to escape the oyster crowds, the rest of the region is packed with standout events. Check out the Marine Science Symposium in Plett, lace up for the 5km Colour Fun Run in George, or catch the Stockcars Klein Karoo Championship under the stadium lights in Oudtshoorn. Here is a breakdown of all the top events coming your way.

Knysna Oyster Festival

Prime Circle Live

South African rock legends Prime Circle turn up the winter heat with an energetic live outdoor performance on the main festival stage. Supported by a talented guest opening act, this is a highlight musical show for rock fans visiting the lagoon town.

Knysna Cycle Tour
